Oil leaking from your supercharger? It might be time for a rebuild! 🔧

Edelbrock Performance E-Force TVS1320 supercharger from a 2013 Scion FR-S made its way to our shop from Florida after the customer reported an oil leak from the rear gear cover plate.

With a Stage 2 rebuild underway, we're addressing much more than just the oil leak. The work order includes a new Eaton TVS1320 rotor pack, fresh bearings, gaskets, seals, a new supercharger coupler, bypass plate, and injector cleaning and flow testing.

Sound check! Final sonic testing on the Magnuson Superchargers TVS2300!

We're using sonic frequency testing to verify proper belt tension on this Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger rebuild. By measuring the belt's vibration frequency, we can accurately check tension rather than relying on guesswork. It's all about precision!

This supercharger came to us from a Camaro with a consistent noise throughout the RPM range. Upon inspection, we discovered a failed rear nose-drive bearing that had contaminated the oil with metal debris, damaging additional gears and bearings.

Our rebuild included new nose-drive components, bearings, seals, hardware, supercharger oil and bypass components, along with injector cleaning and flow testing. We also inspected and tested the intercooler assembly.

This one is still in pieces for a reason.

Before a supercharger goes back together, every component needs to be inspected, cleaned and checked for wear or damage. That means taking a close look at the case, rotor pack, gears, bearings and the rest of the internal components before reassembly ever begins.

This unit is still in the process, but this is where a proper rebuild starts.

Don't ignore that oil leak!

Edelbrock E-Force TVS1320 from a Scion FR-S came to Superchargers Online after developing an oil leak from the rear gear cover, so we tore it down to find the source and give the unit the attention it needed.

The rebuild included a Stage 2 with new bearings, a fresh Eaton rotating assembly, new seals and a complete internal cleaning before everything goes back together properly. From there, it went right to our testing cell for performance evaluations.

Is a 190,000-mile supercharger worth saving?

This TRD Stage 2 M90 setup from a 2003 Toyota Tundra 4.7L came across our bench for a full rebuild, and this one had definitely earned it.

The supercharger was completely torn down, inspected and serviced, while the injectors were cleaned and flow tested before everything went back together. We also made sure the pulley alignment was exactly where it needed to be before final assembly.

These older TRD systems are getting harder to replace, which makes properly rebuilding the original unit even more important.
