For those of you who can remember that far back, about four years ago, we started this 1972 Camaro project. We had high hopes that it would be completed in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, it ended up in a “situation” that was not producing results… otherwise known as body shop jail. The world changed a lot in the last four years and it was a struggle to maintain the enthusiasm for this project. We recently worked out an arrangement with one of our very good body shop customers Christian Udaeta and are feeling optimistic again! This morning with the help of my wonderful employees, Tom and Ben, and Tom‘s brother, Chuck, we got the Camaro and the fully built LS motor over to Next Auto Body We’ll keep you posted!

Restoration tip: don't skip the rubber. Worn door and window weatherstrip is the number one reason a beautiful classic still leaks water, whistles at highway speed, and rattles over bumps. Fresh seals are one of the cheapest upgrades for the biggest "feels new again" payoff. Measure your old ones, match the profile, and replace as a full set for the best result.
