I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it is not advisable to media blast these old oil bath air cleaners. What a wreck! This one is getting converted to a disposable air filter now.

PSA: if you’r carburetor is flooding at idle but runs great going down the road, you might check the needle and seat o-ring. Today’s fuel is horrible on rubber parts. This o-ring is absolutely hamburger, causing the engine to ‘flood’ at stop signs. This Holley will get both replaced and a new accelerator pump diaphragm. Happy motoring!
