Ron and Janet loved to travel with their three children; Vicki, Tyler, and Shelly. In 1968, after a trip to California and their family growing in size, they felt a camper would make vacationing easier and less stressful. Janet convinced Ron they should order

two campers and sell one to help pay for the other. In 1969, Amunrud's Camper Sales Center was created. The couple began selling a few campers a year from their personal residence. Janet operated the business while Ron split his time as a New York Life Insurance sales agent and selling campers. After a few years, with a steady growth in sales of campers, Ron sold his New York Life book of business and devoted his time fully to the company. In January of 1979, Ron and Janet purchased 1.93 acres in the southern part of Sidney and moved their operations. Their son, Tyler, became an employee and would eventually become the owner of the business. The company filed the articles of corporation with the Montana's Secretary of State and became a corporation on October 30, 1996. Over the years, the company's way of conducting business has not changed and has stood the test of time. They take pride in the products they sell and stand by the service work they perform. They are the only RV dealership and service shop in eastern Montana. The company has experienced the oil crash of the 1980s, the oil boom of the Bakken in the 2000s, and the price per barrel for oil dropping again. For the past 53 years the company has been a constant fixture of Sidney. On January 1, 2022, Mike Anderson, an employee of the business for 28 years purchased the business and the property from Tyler
