Fortunately, this is a clutch job. But, any transmission problems require complete engine removal and disassembly to split the crankcases. There's no trap door since the early 2000'S. We could change a transmission at the racetrack in 45 minutes. This is 20 hours minimum.

Big news! Dunlop has continued the rebates on American Elites, AND AE2. Up to $90 for 2 tires with installation! This really is a great deal, and American Elites will soon be gone forever.

Dunlop has started REBATES again. July 1 through August 31st, up to $90.00 back with a 2 tire purchase. That's the biggest rebate I've seen from them, and it's American Elite, and AE2. If you were considering, American Elites are getting scarce, and will become history soon. The best tire, now the best price, and with being discontinued, soon to be just a great memory.

Dunlop has shut down its' tire production facility in Buffalo, New York, as of November 7th. They will no longer make tires in the US. I think that's sad, and 1500 workers lost their jobs. What will be the future of what was the BEST motorcycle tire made? We shall see.
