By popular demand the custom front axle seal housings are on the website and available to order!

Typically used to eliminate the FAD seal on a 1 piece axle conversion in a Jeep JL or JT, but can fit any application.

Could you believe that a custom ford 9” differential assembly is a more cost effective repair than replacing with stock components?

This 2004 Toyota Tacoma had rotted through the housing and needed a full overhaul.

At Mitchell Differential, we look into every option to do what is best for the customer and this time as well as others, it’s cheaper to go with a custom Ford 9” than to get new OEM replacement parts and rebuild it.

We were able to reuse the factory axle shafts and brake components built with a custom made 30 spline (normally not available for a 9”) torsen style positraction to replace this rotted through and worn out factory unit.

This 1931 Ford hot rod got some massive upgrades this week!

It originally came in with a GM 7.5” rear end swapped in from an S10, that was 3” too wide.

We built a brand new custom Ford 9” rear end assembly reusing the existing custom suspension components.

Paired nicely with some Wilwood Disc Brakes to match the existing red accents.

Check out this ‘69 Camaro original 12 bolt housing getting a whole new lease on life.

We took this housing from a heavily modified and narrowed racing setup back to stock with a few upgrades.

-Retubed with new 3” x .25” wall DOM tubing

-Eliminated the c-clip with billet big Ford 9” housing ends

-Custom 30 spline 1541H alloy axle shafts

-Wilwood Disc Brakes to tie it all together

This customer will be taking care of the final gear setup and assembly.
