2017 Mercedes-Benz E400: Protected with Modesta Coatings

This sporty Mercedes wagon underwent a meticulous paint correction to maximize gloss while eliminating swirl marks and other paint imperfections, restoring the finish to an exceptional level of clarity and depth.

To preserve that finish for years to come, we professionally installed:

• Modesta BC-04 Nano Titanium Glass Coating on all painted surfaces
• Modesta EGC on all exterior glass
• Modesta BC-06 Heat Resistant Hard Glass Coating on the wheels

Following installation, the complete coating system underwent a mandatory infrared curing process for approximately 4–6 hours. This critical step allows the coatings to properly harden and bond to the vehicle, maximizing gloss, durability, chemical resistance, and long-term performance.

We completed an extensive paint correction to restore the finish’s clarity, depth, and brilliance.

Next, our neighbor applied XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film to the vehicle’s full front. This protects the front end surfaces against rock chips and other flying road debris.

The vehicle was then professionally protected with:

➤A Remarkable Transformation

Over 70 hours of meticulous paint correction brought this Sprinter’s black paintwork back to showroom condition.

Deep scratches, dullness, fading, and severe swirl marks had masked the finish, giving the black paint a whitish, hazy appearance. Through careful correction, we restored its deep black color, clarity, and mirror-like reflections.

To protect the freshly restored surfaces, we applied:

★ Modesta BC-04 Nano-Titanium Glass Coating to the body
★ Modesta EGC to all exterior windows
★ Modesta BC-09 to the wheel faces

Following application, the vehicle underwent eight hours of infrared curing to complete the coating process.
