We did not reach 15 orders for the vintage Attex lower bodies, so we cannot run the mold.

On a more positive note, check out this spray rig we built for a customer. The engine platform mounts directly to our rear roll bar sockets, making it quickly removeable. Underneath it is a large aluminum tank for holding any chemicals required for spraying. After delivery, the customer installed their own fittings and hoses to complete the sprayer setup.

Our vendor is getting ready to vacform the Mudd-Ox bodies. While they're running our plastic, we have the opportunity to produce another run of Attex lower bodies. As these were a bit too small in the past, the plan is to let the plastic cool off on the mold longer than previously done, which will keep the bodies from shrinking down as far. It should be easier to push the frame down in the tub for tire clearance.

In order to pay for the time required on the vacuum forming machine, labor, and transportation of the mold and the formed bodies, we will need to make at least 15 units. Cost will be $750 each.

October 29th: Deadline to order the bodies from us.
October 30th: We will announce if there are enough orders to run the mold.
November 1st: If there are enough orders, payment will be due on this date. We accept credit cards.

Please note that these bodies will be available for pickup at our facility in Shipshewana, IN, we can ship them to you via freight, or we can load them for a hired driver of your choice, such as uShip. We do not have enough room to haul these to Ashtabula as we've done in the past.

You can contact us at 260-768-7221 between 6 am and 4:30 pm EST, or email [email protected] anytime.

These are the only known photographs of the Attex Miami prototype, which was powered by an electric over hydraulic system. The operator used a single joystick for control. Between the unique drivetrain and the winch hidden in the body like a few modern ATV's, this unit was ahead of its time.

Story of the World's First ATV: The Twin-Engine Jiger

After obtaining the very first production ATV ever imported into the United States, we researched the history of Jiger and wrote this short article. It covers the birth of the ATV as a genre, prototype testing, and most notably, the very first production run of an estimated 20 units. The story of survivor # MC319 is incredible.

We’ve been working behind the scenes to make a childhood dream come true: a full-sized, remote-controlled amphibious ATV that is available to the public. Based on our experiences in military applications and a lifetime in the RC hobby, we created a user friendly system.

The RC setup can be installed in conjunction with our steering wheel, allowing for both manual operation inside the Mudd-Ox and remote operation. Having these two control options opens the door for a wide range of job site capabilities.

If only remote control is necessary, we can build the Mudd-Ox without an upper body as shown in the video below. Similar to our amphibious trailer design, we add framework around the lower body that adds extra support on the sidewalls. It both supports the lower body and adds mounting points for a customer to install their own parts on top. Examples include platforms, storage units, lights, etc.

A complete overview and demonstration of our RC Mudd-Ox. We've utilized our experiences with military applications to offer a simplistic design for public sa...

This custom built 6x6 was built to set the world's land speed record for a skid-steer vehicle. Judging by the Indycar wheels and tires, we believe it was constructed in the mid to late 1960's. Its steering system comprised of two manual brake master cylinders powering a clutch pack system. A driver cannot physically overcome the force needed to turn the steering wheel, so the vehicle was never raced.

The team who built it would become the engineers of Scrambler, producing 6x6 ATV's with an entirely different driveline system. Although "The Wrangler" was never raced, Scrambler brought it to local fairs and events as a trailered exhibit. The massive 2-stroke engine with straight pipes could be heard for at least a mile. It was a fan favorite.

The first photo was taken in the early 1970's at one of these events while the second in 2019 at the 50th anniversary of ATV racing in Ashtabula, Ohio. We had the engine professionally rebuilt to fire up for the crowd once again.
