It’s that time of year again already!! We are preparing for one last Swap Meet for this season. This one is Fall Carlisle in Carlisle Pa. Show starts September 30 - October 4th. We have 18 spots to fill. That equals a vending area that is 30’ x 180’ of Square Body goodies. After we get finished at Carlisle we head into Hershey to shop that very large Swap meet. We are making this post to let everyone know next week starts us preparing and loading trailers. We anticipate 6 trailer loads to haul in. We will not be doing much with any messages and requests until we get back into the shop on October 12th. Not that we ever not want to help out, but these shows are a large part of keeping the lights on through the Winter and helping customers that are “Old School” and want to touch there parts before they purchase them. If you message us in this time frame know we have your message and will get back to you ASAP. Many items are on our website and some others on eBay. At this point we think Erin Ruddy is doing a trip to Fall Carlisle for Crew Cab headliners. Be sure to hit him up and reserve yours if you are in need of one. If you can’t make the show and still need or want one we can hold it here at the shop until you can make plans to get it picked up. Picture is only for attention and what the front of the shop will look like very soon. Thank you for the business and your patience while we prepare for this busy three weeks.

Here’s yet another bit of learning something new everyday. Customer requests the Dash Bezel Insert that states “Wait To Start” for his 6.2 Diesel. Sure we have those and I’ll get it on the website. Well going through our tote full of these we’ve found a few variations. Little stuff they change throughout the years. To those that say they are all the same, that’s far from true. When you get into these like we do and offer the purest items you’ll notice all the little stuff they changed through the years. If someone knows the year ranges of these and knows it for a fact and not guessing we’d be obliged to know.

🤦🏼‍♂️🙈🤷🏼‍♂️ is all I can say. We will be there and setup. How can this be true. Where did the summer go? Seems we was just getting ready for the Spring Show!! Guessing it’s time to pull up the big boy pants and get some stuff done. Here is your chance to message us for the preorders. Don’t be sad at the show when we don’t have that one off part you need for that winter project. Reach out now so we have time to get it ready. Messages the week before isn’t always enough time. Big shows like this we are loading and pulling trailers the week before the show. We are NOT pulling parts to take to the show the week before, look now and let us know. Do not procrastinate.

Truck is NOT FOR SALE and does not belong to us. We don’t very often get into reassembly of trucks. As we know we generally just part them out. Customer of our’s bought multiple trucks and pumpkin crates full of parts. He reached out to us to reassemble this one for him. It’s about as solid as they come for the area we live in. All we are doing is making it a complete roller so he can install his lift, drive train and have his Body Man / Painter make it pretty. He knows we have the knowledge of every little piece and it’s correct hardware to mount it up. With this being said I’m doing a little game. I’m going to keep track of the hours as it sits until it’s back together and into the hands of its owner. The game will be a free sweatshirt or T-shirt to whoever can get the closest to the amount of hours we will have involved in getting this back together for the customer. No cost to play, basically only rules are you have to comment time involved on this post and have a US shipping address or pickup directly from us. Have fun with this and we will send picture updates as we move along.

Haven’t done a tshirt update lately! We just recently did an order and we have some new stuff to introduce to the store stock line we are going to carry. I’m super excited to see everyone’s response to these additions. We also can order a green camo sweatshirt and a black camo tshirt and sweatshirt. Unfortunately ladies I can not get a camo tank top. I tried. The green camo tshirt is available on our website with a very limited availability. The golf towel is just something I’m trying to see how they go over. Hopefully there’s more Squarebody golfers out there than we think. Everything else at this point will be a special order. Christmas is right around the corner so let me know if there’s something you are interested in. Special thanks to Tim at ABC Lettering in Shippensburg. He does amazing work in a very timely manner.

We’ve been busy bees trying to keep customers harness requests moving. This is a few that we’ve done here in the past few weeks. Most all these are on the website. Engine harness was custom built for a customer. We will be building more and more new harnesses as time goes. To see what we’ve been building and prices visit our website. Please be patient with us the next few months. September and October are shaping up to be very busy. We will get to your requests ASAP.

Another complete trucks harnesses are finished. This was a 1987 TBI V1500 that we did for a customer of ours. This is quite a job and takes some time and patience. What is pictured took us nearly 40 hours in total. This one needed the entire dual tank and intermediate harness built new. As well as the heater harness. Most everything else was able to be reconditioned with a few wires and connectors here and there that needed replaced. The TBI engine harness was gone through thoroughly and few wires and connectors replaced. If something like this is needed on your Squarebody let us know. Our Shop rate is $70 a hour plus any materials that are needed. We will not be taking on anymore large jobs like this until middle of October. We have a truck to assemble for a customer that has been very patient and start preparing for the 18 spots that we have at Fall Carlise at the end of September. We will naturally be doing our normal website and eBay orders. As well as fulfilling as many requests as possible.
