Another customer has there harnesses on their way back to them. These were sent to us to go through. They are going in this 1979 K20 4wd. We went through all the harnesses, cleaned, repaired and retapped / loomed them as needed. We built them a new engine harness & added in a factory tach, th400 and electric choke. With this we add the provisions on the inside to make it all one harness. With this you don’t have multiple pass throughs going through the firewall like factory has them. Make for a cleaner look.

Keep in mind that this takes between 14 - 20 hours to do a complete. Shop labor rate is $70 for wiring harness. We are currently scheduled out until early September. If you want a quote or need something done feel free to reach out on our page. We can discuss the process of how to get you helped.

Another parts Blazer gathered up today. All kinds of the little items we desire on this one left. It’ll be in the shop next weekend for dismantling.

Another trucks wiring harnesses and steering column completely restored and ready to go back to customer. Customer is doing a frame off restoration and wanted us to go through the 43 year old mess that this truck was put through. This one had some significant repairs that needed done due to improper wiring done throughout the years. Last picture shows exactly why all harnesses should be looked at and made sure there aren’t underlying issues. This was all hidden by tape and loom and could have been very bad and caused serious issues. We have it all repaired and 100% now.

It’s been a long time since we’ve mentioned on here about any of our website new listings. With everything we’ve had going on we haven’t been on the website much to update inventory. There is a bunch saying sold out and unfortunately that’s not the case. We just haven’t made time to update inventory pics. As some know we offer many different harness solutions here. Been our big gig this year so far. First few pictures are yet another headlight harness we received and did a quick turn around for the customer. He has a 1989 Squarebody which uses a Bulkhead that varies from the earlier Squares. He is using 1985 - 1988 Quad Headlight setup in his truck. Yes, the bulkheads are different throughout the years, 73-74, 75-88 & 89-91. With this we offer a solution of installing new pins onto the harness you desire and match it to the bulkhead design your truck offers.

We have some headlight harness cores here for each variety. We also have bulkheads and terminals currently for all items. If this is a solution you’d like done instead of the famous “I’ll just splice them wires together “ solution let us know. See last picture. Not our handy work, but what we are trying to avoid on nice builds that are out there.

** To switch out the bulkhead and supply needed items is only $150. Plus return shipping.
** To fully recondition harness and make it look like new again is $200. (Additional costs inquired for repairs if needed) Plus return shipping.
** Prices are for you suppling us a usable core. Core prices vary greatly in price if we have to provide.

Another set of harnesses completed. These are not our normal harnesses we do. These came from a Trans Am that a local customer brought to us. We’d prefer to stay in the Square Body related items but we can recondition some other models as long as the cores are in fabulous shape like these were. Keep in mind these took about 9 hours to make template, dismantle, clean, inspect every wire and then reassemble. To do this isn’t a couple dollar process. Drivers side drip rail that’s specific to the K5 leaving Pa today and heading to Oklahoma. This post is a simple reminder that we have tons of parts cabs and tubs here. Well over 60 regular cabs, 20 plus burb tubs and 10 or so K5 tubs to cut patches from. Plus frames sitting everywhere that can be sold whole or for pieces. So if there is a piece you don’t feel confident or comfortable in making and it’s not sourced by the box stores don’t be afraid to reach out to us. We cut and ship all kinds of patch panels. Never hurts to ask.

*** Attention, this post is about patch panels and nothing else. We have no good cabs, beds, doors or fenders. Please don’t ask!! We will simply refer you to Porr’s US Classics, so save us both the time and message them for all cab, bed, tailgate, door and fender requests.
