Tire tread isn't the only thing that matters—tire age matters too.

Even tires with plenty of tread can deteriorate as the rubber ages.

You can find the tire's manufacture date in the DOT code printed on the sidewall. The final four digits tell you the week and year the tire was made.

It's one little number that's worth knowing!
