🔧❄️ FROM TORN APART TO BACK TOGETHER — ANOTHER EVAPORATOR JOB COMPLETE! ❄️🔧

This Chrysler Town & Country came into Midwest Outlaw Garage needing an A/C evaporator replacement, and these pictures show exactly why an evaporator job is such a labor-intensive repair!
The evaporator is buried deep inside the HVAC box behind the dashboard of these newer vehicles.
✅ Evaporator replaced
✅ Dashboard and interior completely put back together
✅ A/C system serviced
✅ COLD AIR IS BACK! 🥶💨
Jobs like this are a great example of how sometimes replacing the part is the easy part — getting to it is where the work comes in!

This 1970 Chevy Nova came in for a fresh dual exhaust system, giving this classic the sound it deserves. Nothing beats the rumble of a healthy V8 through a properly built exhaust. 🔥

This Super Duty came in with the driver-side step hanging off after the rocker panel rusted beyond its ability to support it. Rather than replacing the entire rocker, we fabricated a custom 1/4" steel overlay, welded it in place, and reinforced it to provide a solid mounting point for the step.

Rust is just part of life in Iowa, but that doesn't mean it's the end of the road. Sometimes you don't just fix it—you build it back stronger than it was!!

Solid weekend at the 28th Annual Rebels Auto Club Rod & Custom Car Show in Lincoln, Nebraska!

Midwest Outlaw Garage brought a wide variety with 8 shop vehicles and made the trip to represent Southwest Iowa. We couldn't be more proud of the team and everyone who helped make it happen.
🏆 results:
🥇 1st Place – 2 Classes
🥈 2nd Place – 1 Class
🥉 3rd Place – 1 Class

Bringing home four awards against some amazing competition is something we're incredibly grateful for. A huge thank you to the Rebels Auto Club for putting on another outstanding event. The quality of the vehicles, the hospitality, and the atmosphere are what keep us coming back year after year.

Congratulations to all of the winners, and thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out our builds and chat with us throughout the day.
