After being temporarily closed/part-time for a while, I’m happy to announce that Max’s Auto Repair will be opening back up with regular hours!

Thank you to all of our customers for your continued support over the years. As many of you know, the economy has been challenging for both small businesses and families, and we have seen a slowdown in repair work recently.

To adapt and continue serving our community, Max's Auto Repair will be shifting our focus toward engine and transmission replacements/swaps and tire sales. We will still be open and available for automotive repairs, but we will be taking on fewer general repair jobs as we pursue other avenues of income to keep the business moving forward.

If your vehicle needs an engine or transmission replacement, we'd be happy to provide an estimate and discuss your options. Whether you're looking to keep your current vehicle on the road or avoid the cost of a newer vehicle, replacing a failed engine or transmission can often be a cost-effective solution.

Here in the very near future Olivia and I will be renting our 32ft motor home for camping locally around lake Shelbyville. We will be setting it up at the camp site, so all you have to do is show up with food and make yourself at home!

Sleeps 6, no slide outs.
Shower and bathroom #1 only NO #2!
Fridge, stove, sink, microwave
Cold air conditioning

Fully furnished- coffee maker, toaster, kitchen towels, dishes, silverware, hot plate, pots and pans, weiner roaster sticks, chairs, outdoor area rug, grill ect.

$300 deposit-- deposit will be returned if no damages or repairs are needed.
$300 per day
