🤨 Ughhh Ohhhhh! Friggin' rats got ANOTHER ONE...& this one is MINE!! 😠

Just because I own a repair shop, certainly doesn't mean I'm immune to the same issues my customers face... RATS tearing up the equipment!! 🐀 😬

These vermin built a nest around the engine cylinder cooling fins, where the engine couldn't cool itself off while mowing grass and BOOM...it overheated & blew a head gasket...💥 🤕

Thankfully "I Know'a Guy" that fixed it, where it now looks & runs like it never happened! 😉

Got vermin problems...or just a sick piece of equipment that needs attention? "I Know'a Guy" I can refer you to....at LRS! 😎

It's a "little wonder" this rig even ran!! 😬 🤢 🤮

This Optimax "Little Wonder" 9hp Push Blower came to us w/ a blown pull starter, hard to start, lack of power & generally running like crap... 🤕

Inspection dis-assembly revealed the recoil starter in pieces & the carb full of sand, trash and varnish..

Sooo..the recoil assy. was cleaned, lubed & re-assembled - along w/ the carb getting a nice ultrasonic hot bath, making it as clean as new! 😃

She now starts easy again, runs smooth & screams at wide open - producing hurricane-speed winds Mother Nature would be proud of!!

Carburetor service & tuning - a dying art... 😔

Not here at LRS! 👍 😉

We prefer to clean & rebuild carburetors anytime its practically & financially possible over simple "replacing" to retain factory performance..

That said - I've probably cleaned, rebuilt, tuned or repaired literally HUNDREDS of carbs over the course of my 36 yr. career dating back to the 80's from auto, small engine, marine, tractors, powersports, racing engines & just about anything in between. Been there..done that! 😉

We have the direct, decades-long, hands-on experience to clean/rebuild your carburetor as well, so if you've got a carb that needs attention - give us a call! 😃

Just in time for the 4th. of Juulyyyy festivities!! 🚤 😃

This 1990 MasterCraft V8-powered ski boat came to us for much needed preventive maintenance to replace all the rubber hose parts in the engine bay *before* they fail, fix a noisy alternator and prep it for Summer..

Can do!!! 👍 😃

36 yr. old rubber parts are a problem just *waiting* happen, leaving our customer stranded on the water.. 👎 😬

Replaced / custom fitted all the engine, exhaust cooling & fuel delivery hoses w/ premium USCG marine-grade hoses, a fresh fuel filter, clamps and even rebuilt the noisy alternator.. 👍

Of course....in the name of good customer service - we HAD to go for some "testing" fun on the lake afterward! Perks of the job.. 😉

The boat's happy! Our customer is happy!! We're happy it's making waves again!!! 😃
