As of 11/1/2025, Spoonire Auto Service has closed and will no longer operate at the Sharpsburg location. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and I am sincerely grateful for the relationships and loyalty you have shown to every member of the team.

Pre-construction work is set to start in spring of this year, with the bridge closure and detour beginning in June after the school year concludes. Due to the bridge’s design, a detour is necessary. The detour route will guide traffic along MD 68, I-70, and MD 63, using only state-maintained roadways. The project is expected to be completed before the 2026-2027 school year begins.
