🔧 WHAT'S IN THE SHOP WEDNESDAY?

FROM DINOSAUR TO DAILY DRIVER!

Check out this beautiful 1953 Dodge Pilothouse Pickup!

Our customer purchased this old Dodge at auction, sight unseen! Now it's in the hands of the Traffic Jams crew, getting some much-needed mechanical upgrades.

We're working on:

🔧 Building a new fuel system to replace the leaking gas tank.

⚡ Converting the electrical system from 6 volts to 12 volts.

❤️ MEET SANDY! — 20 YEARS WITH THE BOBFATHER! ❤️

Bobfather Says:

"Meet Sandy! She's been with me for 20 years, through two different businesses! She started working with me back in my used car lot days, long before Traffic Jams Speed Shop.

Today, she's our organizer, helps keep track of the finances for our Wrenchlife Charity Car Shows, and handles about a million other things whenever we need her!

Together, we've helped raise over $55,000 for local charities in the past five years through our Wrenchlife Car Shows.

Behind every successful car show, there's a whole lot of work that most people never see. Sandy is one of those people who helps make it all happen.

Thanks for sticking with me all these years, Sandy!"

🏁 FRIDAY'S INSIDE THE WRENCHLIFE — IT'S A SMALL CAR WORLD!

One of our great customers, Randy Thorson, recently shared a story that's just too good not to tell!

Randy, who owns an awesome Buick we've had the pleasure of working on many times, was at a car show last Sunday when a fellow walked up and asked:

"Are you the Thorson who owned a GTX years ago?"

Randy said yes.

The fellow smiled and said, "I'm the 16-year-old kid you sold it to back in 1974!"

52 YEARS LATER!

The two spent the next hour talking and reminiscing. Randy couldn't believe how much this fellow remembered about him and that old GTX.

They say everybody is connected by six degrees of separation. But around Traffic Jams Speed Shop and in the Wrenchlife community, we figure it's more like THREE!

That's what makes the car world so special. The cars may come and go, but the stories, friendships, and memories stick around forever.

❤️ Have you ever crossed paths with a car you once owned or someone from your car-loving past? We'd love to hear your story!

WINTER DOESN’T CARE IF YOUR CAR IS READY
Cold mornings. Snow. Ice. Salt. Shorter days. Wisconsin winter asks a lot more from your everyday driver.
Before the weather really turns, this is the time to make sure your car is ready—not after you’re stranded on a 10° morning.

❄️ IS YOUR CAR READY FOR A WISCONSIN WINTER?
A little preventative maintenance now can save you a lot of aggravation when the snow starts flying.
At Traffic Jams, we can give your everyday driver a winter checkup, including:
- 🔋 Battery & charging system — cold weather is hard on weak batteries
- 🛞 Tires & tread — traction matters when the roads get slick
- 🧊 Coolant/antifreeze — proper protection for freezing temperatures
- 🔥 Heating & defrost system — you need heat AND clear windows
- 🛑 Brakes — winter roads are no place to discover a problem
- 💡 Lights & wipers — because winter means more driving in the dark, snow and slush
- 💧 Fluids, belts & hoses — catch the little things before the cold makes them bigger things
DON’T WAIT FOR THE FIRST SNOWFALL.
Bring it in now and let us help make sure you—and your car—are ready for what Wisconsin throws at us.
