DID YOU KNOW?

A brand-new drive belt actually needs a break-in period.

Going straight from a new belt to hard acceleration, heavy loads and repeated full-throttle runs can create excessive heat before the belt has properly seated to the clutch surfaces.

Giving a new belt an easier break-in can help it seat properly and may improve belt life and performance.

And yes, this applies when you replace a belt, not just when you buy a brand new machine.

It’s one of those little things that can make a BIG difference.
