On Wednesday 4/29 at 8:52 PM the TAVFD received a report of a semi-truck off the road on HWY 160 approx. 1/4 mile west of CR 817.
The first unit on the scene reported a fuel truck (approx. 8000 gallons) off the road on its driver’s side. The scene size up indicted a number of issues that required immediate action.
• Driver injuries;
• an active HazMat
• the need for securing the scene and nearby area.
It was clear that this was a complex incident requiring coordination among multiple agencies and field operations.
Volunteer firefighters were on scene throughout the night and into the next morning working with local, county, state agencies and contractors

OCSD/dispatchers, Gainesville VFD, Pontiac/Price VFD, Oakland VFD, Ozark County Ambulance, Air Evac, MSHP, MODOT, West Plains Hazmat, MO DNR, Environmental Works Inc and Yates Boys Heavy Wrecker services

Units went back in service the next day on Thursday 4/30 at 9:06 am
No additional injuries reported

We are excited to announce that we are adding a location in Marshfield, MO!

This will be a full service location for light to heavy duty towing and recovery. We are thankful to you all for the support that’s allowed us to keep expanding to help our neighbors in need.

Thank you Wright County!

We feel extremely blessed to have officially been in the Wright county area for a year! We want to thank you all for your continued support and welcoming us into the community.

From parades to school and community events, we have been happy to be involved and look forward to continuing to serve the community for years to come. Several of our operators and their families call this area home and are proud to be involved and work for such great people!

Some days it’s not just all towing ..

Here are a few photos of a training/lifting exercise completed by our crew where we used an 1150 rotator to pickup another heavy wrecker.
The rotator has the ability to lift up to 100,000 pounds and has a 3 stage boom with 360 degree continuous rotation. It allows even the most complicated recoveries and lifting projects to be a breeze. Also included are a few photos of recent work from around the Ozarks.
