Dear Allante & XLR members and owners,
We really have some information for you. 1st off, we just got back from our first Allante Repair tour. As mentioned, we went down to Concord NC for the (CLC) Cadillac LaSalle National Meet. It was a nice showing but sure needed more car there. The attendance was low, but the (CAC) Cadillac Allante XLR Club was well represented. We had 8 of our members show up but only 5 Cars were judged and all five won a trophy. Joe & Lise Cieslak with their bright red 1993 (last one sold to the public) , Mike & Heidi Friedel with their 1993 Montana Blue and Bob & Peggy Bowman with their 1990 Peril White Allante. Then we had 3 XLR’s, Elise & Nile Olausen with their 2009 electric blue and again, Bob & Peggy bowman with there 2009 Black Cherry. What a trouper, they brought both cars there. Then we had a 2006 amethyst but was not a member but will join us soon.
Now that were back, we trying to hustle up on getting some of our members cars repaired and well start repairing some of the ones we have for sale which we have a few. If anyone is interested in an Allante, you should call me and ill do a walk around for you. We have some as low as 2,000 to 18,000. What ever your price range, we have them, and most importantly, I will stand behind everyone within reason. So, give me a call 609-634-6518
Pretty soon, we will be on our way on our 2nd and largest Allante repair tour. We will start out from Sewell NJ to Grand Rapids Michigan for the 10th ANNUAL ALLANTE-XLR INVITATIONAL. Nj, Pa to Ohio or Nj, NY then Ohio. It depends on your calls or emails. We most likely may be heading out give or take August 9th, on August 12, I just my make a stop at the MGM Northfield Park in Ohio to see the Stray Cats. I missed them last year because of this trip and again this year at the Ocean Casino in Atlantic city NJ. So, this may be the only time to see them. Then from there we will head over to Carmen’s and Diane’s home 24957 Saddlehorn Circle Columbia Station, OH 44028 where for the last few years they hold an Allante work party. Now come Sunday, August 16th, Joe Russo will open up his ranch to accommodate us for another Allante Work party. We missed last year because the ones that were coming to joes, came to the Grand Rapids show and had work done at the Hotel. Once we leave Carmen’s, we will continue to Joe’s Ranch for another work party in Ceder Lake IN. it’s all according if we have any stops along the way, but we should be there Sunday 16th and Monday 17th. once finish there, we will continue to the host hotel in Grand Rapids Mi. where we will be there from Tuesday to Sunday. Plenty of time to get all your Allante needs finish.
Big news, do you remember the Chicagoland Alante car club. Well Joe Russo will be kicking off the new Chicagoland Region of the Cadillac Allante XLR Club at Joe’s ranch 14600 Parrish Cedar Lake In. 46303. It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved friend, Russell Vopelak. He left this world on Sunday evening, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be remembered.
Russell was not only a dear friend to many but also a passionate enthusiast of the Cadillac Allante and XLR. He possessed a profound love for these remarkable automobiles, which reflected his appreciation for elegance, style, and craftsmanship. He dedicated countless hours to researching, discussing, and admiring the unique features of the Cadillac Allante, truly embodying an enthusiasm for the automotive world.
Beyond his love for cars, Russell touched the lives of those around him with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering friendship. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together, always making others feel heard, valued, and cared for. His infectious and vibrant spirit will forever remain etched in our hearts.
As we mourn the loss of our dear friend, let us also celebrate the life he lived. Let us remember him for his unwavering passion, his contagious enthusiasm, and the joy he brought to our lives. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Hello Allanté XLR members and owners.

All good news. 1st up, I will be leaving on the Allanté repair tour this Wednesday morning. Driving from NJ to Florida. Down 95 and up 75. So, if you’re in need of anything let me know asap. I do carry lot of extras so you may be in luck. Now once I get to Florida and see my Buddy Dick Hussey from Allanté source, I can pick up any part you may need.

Most of you that pick up your emails, already know about one of the largest Allanté events will happened August 20 to 23, 2020. The Allanté XLR Invitational offered to host the 18th National Cadillac Allanté XLR clubs Show / Vacation. Some ask why you have vacation in the title. That is because I always have side trips to and from the event which makes a short weekend into a VACATION. Quite a few of us drive a long distance including myself. I ask others coming from the west or south to do the same. If your coming from the east, we will be doing Sandusky with an island ride to PUT IN BAY park. An Allanté owner owns a Hotel restaurant there. Food was fantastic. So go to the website www.CadillacAllanteClub.com its all on the home page.

Oh, sorry forgot to mention the host hotel is sold out. There is one right next door, walking distance and if your have an inkling, book it because it will sell out too. The 28th Metro cruise is the 2nd largest street cruise in the country. And just wait till you witness the hospitality of Denny and Monica Backis who run the Allanté XLR Invitational.

I should mention the feature car of the show will be the Mary Kay Allanté edition. Joe Russo is taking the challenge and will find everything there is to know about these very limited autos’ and this year he will award the Best of Show Mary Kay. So, if you own one, get there…

When I get back to the Allanté Repair shop, I need to get rid of some of these Allantés. My landlords pretty mad at me. When I rented, he said 6, how bout I got 30. So, we will start auction them off. Remember members have first shot. OK I gotta go. Stay warm…… Johnny
