Join us for a special evening exploring the wonders of the night sky, right here in Marysvale!

🔭 Meet Our Guest Astronomer!

Roald Peterson, affectionately known as “Toad,” earned his degree in astrophysics from Brigham Young University. He spent his professional career as an electrical engineer, including assignments at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and Hill Air Force Base in Utah, where he retired.

But Toad’s real passion has always been the night sky!

A lifelong astronomy enthusiast, Toad has spent countless hours exploring the universe through his impressive collection of telescopes.

His sister, Marysvale resident Erin Jensen, has joined him on many stargazing adventures, marveling at Saturn’s magnificent rings, Jupiter’s four largest moons, distant nebulae, brilliant constellations, and other celestial wonders.

🌠 Now he’s bringing that experience to Marysvale!

Toad will be bringing five of his finest telescopes, giving us an incredible opportunity to see some of these amazing sights for ourselves!

Thanks to Marysvale’s beautiful dark skies, we’ll have a wonderful setting for an evening of astronomical discovery.

Whether you’re a lifelong astronomy enthusiast or have never looked through a telescope, everyone is welcome!

Thanks for another wonderful season! Even with the devastating wildfires to the south and west of us and the flooding we were able to stay open and enjoy everyone that came to relax and support us. May you all be blessed.
