Now Hiring: Automotive / Diesel Mechanic (Part-Time/Full-Time)
Growing independent repair shop seeking a motivated, dependable jack-of-all-trades mechanic to join our team. Position available as part-time or full-time for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone comfortable working on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment — no two days are the same. Work includes:
Passenger vehicles
Light trucks
Class 4+ trucks
Heavy equipment
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced shop environment with a mix of flat rate and hourly pay depending on the type of work performed.
Responsibilities
Perform PM (preventive maintenance) services on commercial fleet vehicles
Diagnose and repair gas and diesel vehicles/equipment
Perform inspections, maintenance, and general repair work
Troubleshoot drivability and mechanical issues
Build work orders and identify/order necessary parts
Complete work efficiently and safely
Maintain clean and organized work area
Assist in keeping commercial fleets road-ready and properly maintained
Requirements
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
Own tools of the trade
Diagnostic knowledge in gas and diesel engines
Pennsylvania inspection & emissions license
Preferred (Not Required)
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Welding experience
