Sleepy EV (that's an electric vehicle for all you sports car, and pick-up truck driving gas and diesel burning folks...) tow from the middle of nowhere back home to Sky Harbor Airport this week.

This was another minor recovery we did (Tikka and I) about a week ago in the Gila River bottom.
This particular car was an All Wheel Drive, but not necessarily a 4WD.
Difference being in this situation, as soon as the car lost momentum and one tire lost traction, the car became high-centered, stuck and immobilized.

I was however impressed with how far in this this particular car made it do to the driver's perseverance 😏.

None the less they still needed a little help from old Blue.

But seriously, it just goes to prove that old Blue is pretty versatile and this wasn't his first Jeep rescue.

"What's on my mind?"
Well "one day" this last week, and not Friday 13th, I ran both of these calls in the same town back-to-back...

Both were orange trucks, both encountered immovable objects, then both got stuck on said immovable objects.

If you find yourself "stuck-to" an immovable object like these guys, and it's not your love interest, give us call, we can help get you safely seperated!

Shout out to GP Prendergast of Prendergast Towing , Florence Az. He has announced his retirement!
GP has been a very good friend and mentor of mine for a number of years now in the towing industry.
I have in fact re-homed TWO of his hand-me-down trucks over the last 6 years.

GP is one of a few tow operators out there that I know who have selflessly shared their wisdom with me (and others) over the years, sometimes whether I asked for it or not. I hope I may do the same for others before I park my truck.

Anyway, congratulations my friend. May your retirement years be blessed!
