Did a new exhaust system from the headers back on the daily SS clone. Speed Engineering X pipe system with Spintech 8000 series mufflers, and Flowmaster 3" universal truck tailpipes.

I got the rollpan all mounted up and everything is solid. Shouldn't be too bad to mold these seams in. It's going to be clean and smooth back here.

Fixed this mess today. Still need to block it one more time before I mount the last piece of cladding for that side but the fit turned out great. That corner was all out of whack gap wise with the rollpan and corner of the tailgate. I was able to pull all of that back into shape. All of the edges line up much better now. That rollpan was unbolted underneath in these pics, that's why its hanging like that.

Contunuing work on the SS clone conversion. Getting the driver side pieces pernanently mounted today, and they are fitting up very good. All mounting brackets are riveted in like factory, and connect to the cladding with factory push clips.

Fitting up the new rear tire size, a 325/30/20. This is 13.5" wide tread width, 28" tall. Will have enough room to lay the frame flat with Ridetech HQ Shockwaves and drive at a 5" rear ride height.

This is the inlet assembly for my Swiftek 3 stage billet catch can setup. -12AN from the valley tray to the -12 to dual -8AN inlets. Will be tucked away on the core supprt next to the radiator.

Has anyone ever had their throttle body powdercoated again after welding? If so, did you press the shaft out or leave it in?

Thanks to Clint Thompson and Dwayne Thompson for welding up my TB and intake pipe. Fits perfect. Now I just need to drill the hole for the lower mounting bracket and test fit the filter. Even though the lower bracket will be solid mounted, this Vibrant clamp allows for up to 7 degrees of misalingment in all directions while still keeping an airtight seal. So even the little bit the engine moves in the mounts, it will not stress or crack the lower mount. Off to powdercoating next along with my tensioner and alternator pulley.

I had to fab up a mounting tab for the bottom side of the air intake tube since I could not find one commercially. Whole setup is getting welded tomorrow then its off to powdercoat.

I finally broke down and decided which TB coupling setup I wanted to use and picked up this Vibrant setup. It is much nicer than I anticipated. Glad I chose this one now. Once everything is welded and coated, I think this setup should look pretty good. Now that the top side is set, I need to address the bottom side for a mounting tab, filter, and housing. Dont mind the dust on everything.
