Hi!
It’s been a while. With all that’s going on in our family we had to step away for a bit. We have sort of teamed up with a friend who has been detailing even longer than us!

We can book details for our home (in our garage as we’ve always done) or he is also willing to sometimes do mobile and come to you!

Please check out his app to schedule appointments and let us know what you’d prefer!!
By spring we will be ready to come back FULL TIME!

Not your typical detail post but please consider reading and sharing for our family

💚🫶🏼 PLEASE READ AND SHARE🫶🏼💚

Soo, I posted how my appointment went well and then never followed up. 😂 typical me.

I found out (finally) that I'm AB blood type. This is AMAZING as someone who needs a kidney because I can accept any kidney from ANY BLOOD TYPE!!! 🙌🏼
I was also told that my wait time for a deceased donor is much shorter than the average wait time of 4-8 years. Only 5% of recipients are AB so we typically wait 2-3 years on dialysis for a DECEASED donor! I can still find a living donor (also much easier to do) in the meantime!

I also have no other health issues that would slow the process down so it's just getting a few tests done and results back to the hospital and I'll be listed.
They also count your time on dialysis as time on the list.

So if you have ever thought of being a donor consider me and my little family here.

We work hard, we love hard and we teach our children the same. I want to be here for as long as possible and the longer I'm on dialysis the shorter that life span becomes.

Organ donation doesn't just change lives it SAVES lives. And that life could be mine.

Many people around you are affected by this whole process and illness but these 4 right here are directly impacted the most. My children have to see their mother sick and pray 🙏🏼 she's going to be ok (as a child who lost their mother to illness this is a scary and traumatic thing to go through)
My husband has to worry every single day about his wife, the mother of his children. He has to worry if he will have to do this alone. He has to worry if his kids will grow up in a world without their mother.
And while yes, we have treatments for kidney failure we have no cure. Even transplant is just a treatment. Sometimes they fail and you're back on dialysis.
And while dialysis keeps you alive it can only work for so long and honestly it's not a great quality of life. And yes, even with these options kidney failure kills people every day.
So these scary thoughts are valid and they are stressful.
I always say this is much more of an emotional process than physical and I'm hoping this post may help spread awareness to what we go through!
While it seems as easy as "just get a transplant you'll be fine" it's most definitely not.
