Unfortunately the forecast for air Quality later in the day is only getting worse. It is absolutely wild to have to cancel an event for smoke but it is in everyone's best interest to limit their outdoor exposure. Good air quality is between 0-50. Currently 173 at the track now and local forecasts are actually calling for areas to reach 300 or more later this afternoon. Nobody wants to race more than us as the cost to get the facility ready and track already being prepared along with insurance paid. We take a major hit finically canceling hours prior to races. So Believe me this is not what we want to do.

Races for tonight are canceled.

We will monitor the weather and hope the forecast changes for Saturday.

Well, not totally sure what to do to be honest. Everything I have read is this smoke isnt necessarily ground level and the thickest of what will come through is suppose to move through by early afternoon. Air quality by Hot Laps is the best part of the day for what is being predicted. Saturday looks like a complete wash out too.

Are you wondering how your competition or some people are getting faster? Track Rentals or Driver Development nights are the key to getting faster. Some kids are getting an entire season of laps in 1 night of a track rental.

Each racer is at a different point in their career and we can help racers just getting started or advanced racers needing more clarity on race lines, passing, or confidence in different track conditions.

Call today or ask a staff member at the track about more information.

Track Rentals are $500 for full track prep and lights. This can be split up amongst a few different families or however you want.

An awesome Saturday night. Congratulations to all our feature winners. And thank you all who attended.

Finished the night with a King of the hill challenge with some great battles.

Remember next Saturday night is the powder puff race. One of the most exciting nights of the year. This is for ladies that aren't a regular racer.

Predator Racers!!!!

In regards to the muffler situation, please hold tight on purchasing or changing anything as we work with other tracks and officials on a long term decision.

The availability to buy mufflers, not being allowed to mix match parts between hemi and non hemi, keeping rules aligned with other tracks to make the racers life easier, are all things we are considering at this time. We will have an answer soon.

Respectfully, we understand the rule of two distinct 5/16 holes is apparently vague. You racers started playing with them and living in the Grey area which has now fallen on us to make difficult decisions that will unfortunately cost you either way we decide to go. Drilling clear through mufflers, or down through to make an open pipe was not what was intended in the rules but also not specific. Apparently some new mufflers out of the box are coming with different holes and baffles. Most definitely not what we intended on dealing with mid season but something will be done to get everyone back on a fair playing field.

Things being considered is going back to stock mufflers with no holes. The problem is the availability.

1 other option being discussed is going wennie pipe as there are alot of used ones laying around since akra went all big pipe. This of course would also make everyone equal and easy to tech. Wennie pipe is relatively the same price as stock predator mufflers replacement.

HOLD TIGHT AS WE DISCUSS WITH OTHER TRACKS AND GET A HANDLE ON A LONG YERM DECISION.

Your Thursday night Thunder feature winners.

Thanks to all who attended tonight. 60 karts on a Thursday and over 200 fans is awesome. All done and completed in two hours. All made possible by an awesome track crew and amazing staff doing their part. Thankful to say the least.
