Meet Mark Smith, the man leading our Fixed Operations team!

Mark brings more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry to Lake Keowee Auto Group. He spent much of his career with Ford, including 17 years as the Used Car Manager at Benson Ford in Easley. He spent 12 years in business for himself and eventually made his way back into the corporate automotive world.

Born and raised in Spartanburg, Mark now lives in Woodruff and makes the drive to Seneca every day. He is a proud Marine Corps veteran, a deacon and member of First Baptist Church of Woodruff, and someone whose faith, family, and love for people are at the center of who he is.

Mark has been married to his wonderful wife since 1999 and is the proud father of two grown sons and a daughter he looks forward to seeing again in Heaven. Outside of work, you can usually find him fishing, beekeeping, or cheering on the Gamecocks.

One of Mark’s favorite things about his role is the team around him. With employees spanning different ages and levels of experience, he believes there is always something new to learn and that education never really stops in this business.

And after decades in the automotive industry, Mark has built relationships with thousands of customers and friends along the way. If you knew Mark from his Benson Ford days or have worked with him throughout the years, he’d love to see you again.
