We love this time of year as guys are all looking forward to UCC. We are supporting many teams this year and are dedicated to keeping up our end of the bargain. That said, please keep us updated on build progress and any last minute changes that are being made. Let’s all work together so you guys can get some testing in before it’s time to show. If anyone has questions about parts, tuning or nitrous/dyno technique feel free to reach out. We will be working through the weekend as trucks become available for testing. No one wants to be doing this stuff last minute but let’s be honest, many end up in that position even with the best of planning. Orders will still be very high priority but just slightly below the guys that are competing. The Duramax guys will need to bring some heat to put some inline 6 guys on the trailer in the 72 fast class. The 10 year anniversary of UCC will be epic!!! 👊

We won’t be around for the next few days with Memorial Day coming up and we also celebrate Pentecost this weekend. We will be back in the shop in Wednesday. If anyone needs to reach Aaron for tuning stuff you can text him if you have his number. If not email using the most recent email chain you have going. He’ll be helping a few guys that are doing standalone L5P stuff in preparation for UCC so he’ll be in that tuning state of mind anyway. Happy Memorial Day guys!!

This little 72/94 kit and the 200’s are sold, going into a build we are a part of in New York. The 80/110 will be ridiculous with these new Exergy 300’s! I doubt we will find the limit of the new injectors, we never found the limit of the 200’s. Stay tuned for updates on the cool s**t lol

Simplified the order process for E42 stuff. Tunes have been working flawlessly. LBF for 20-23 will go live this week and 17-23 LBF updates will hit the store. Order processing has been streamlined and orders fulfillment is moving along much better. You still get the quality you expect

Quick example of the difference the right torque converter makes. I spent some time last weekend working with Perry on his track tune. Having an 80mm in the valley and being at high elevation on a warm day creates horrible conditions for spool up. I checked nearby Denver airport conditions and the DA was over 7600’. This week Perry reached out to the right guy, although he may not want to be mentioned publicly, and this is the result. Guys don’t be quick to think that because your torque converter is a “3,000 stall” that you have the correct converter for your application. If your tuner had sincerely worked with you and worked their way up in fueling, usually the best strategy, but you just can’t get the RPM and heat your turbo(s) need to spool, reach out to other racers that have found solutions. They will usually be a huge help since they have defeated a few of the giants you may be facing

You ever wonder what I lot of the trucks that compete in the NHRDA do for a day job? A bunch are farm trucks. This truck belongs to our good customer and friend Cody Williams. Cody’s and his son Tanner both race NHRDA. What a cool legacy for a man to go racing with his son!! Let’s get out and support diesel racing and specifically the NHRDA as they are bringing back the good ole days 💪 One of these days a bunch of us original diesel guys will gather around a race trailer and talk about the way things used to be.

The boys at Exergy blew us away with these 300’s! Now before our customers rush to get these, let’s see if they will make more power than the 200’s. We were nowhere near running the 200’s to their full potential. The street manners with 300’s are better than 200’s, 200’s are better than 100’s. The flow sheet numbers check. These injectors don’t flow more down low than 200’s. About to get a few dyno pulls to get some numbers. We are not shooting for any records today. This truck is on a stock short block. Why has no one offered rods for the L5P that we can use with these pistons? We obviously have the right platform to push the Duramax to the front of the big 3 but no one is developing what we need, and that is simply a stronger set of rods. I say all this and we have never thrown a rod. There is no doubt that we easily could. We just don’t want to do it today, Neal needs to put some miles on this truck before we try anything crazy

hit the track last night with his crew cab L5P and took the L5P 1/8 mile record going 6.43 @ 111 MPH!

PJ reached out to us a year ago and was willing to change his setup to whatever we recommended. It worked out well for this team. Single s480, Exergy 200’s, S&S 14mm CP3 and a few kits of spray on a completely stock motor. This was a beautiful pass! It all came together for these guys and we are proud 🥹

When you set out to raise the bar there will be no shortage of distractions. Social media is a great example of this. When trolls begin to lurk around your posts, don’t let it get under your skin. There is a story in the Bible that we can look to. In the 6th chapter of Nehemiah the enemies of God’s people seek to distract Nehemiah and do him harm. His answer is priceless!

Let this be our approach. We who trust in the Risen Savior Jesus Christ don’t need to be so easily distracted. If God has called us to a good work, whatever that is in your case, don’t come down

LBF for the 24+ trucks has been very well received and guys std loving what we can do with this trucks. All the throttle response and power without the pukes of smoke. 17-19 LBF is ready for all stock fuel and VGT setups. These improvements we developed will carry over to all bigger setups where applicable. Single s400 L5P trucks won’t benefit much simply because they are not quick natured like a VGT or big compound truck. All new orders will be getting the LBF. Others can order a tune update. We’ll be looking forward to feedback
