I mean, who am I to argue with research? 🤷
As we head into the 4th of July Weekend, it is critical that we all do our part to not set the state on fire. You all are already incredibly interesting and attractive (yes, I am talking to YOU), but here are some things you can do to be even MORE interesting and MORE attractive:
-Check your local fire restrictions before any kind of fire enters the equation. Yes, this means recreational fires, debris burns, etc.
-If you are having any kind of fire, make sure to drown, stir, and feel the fire after you are done to be sure it is cool to the touch and safe to leave. You are the hot one, NOT THE FIRE.
-Towing a trailer or a boat? Check and be sure those chains are not dragging, as they can send sparks off the roadway and into dry brush.
-The hottest people never park in long, dry grass, researchers also told me this.
-Leave the fireworks to the professionals. Many communities across the state are putting on great (and safe) shows this weekend!
Now imagine how amazing we will all look and feel after a weekend of not setting the state on fire. We will be unstoppable!
