With our dedication to Integrity, Quality and Exceptional Service, Chris Auto Repair is looking for an honest, dependable, hardworking Automotive Technician with at least 4+ years of strong automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience. Must be willing to continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology. PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE. Only those who have experience, strong diagnostic skills and value integrity and ethics need apply.

Job Responsibilities:

- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
- Road testing vehicles to ensure quality of repair and ensuring vehicles remain clean
- Must keep work area clean and safe
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
- Plan repair procedures and keep work area clutter free.
-Test the functionality of parts and systems.
Repair and repair brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on all makes/models.
- Keep a professional appearance.

Job Requirements

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an ASE Certified Automotive Technician (Preferred)
- Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
- ASE certifications (Preferred)
- Hold a valid TX driver’s license
- Must have dependable transportation
- Must provide own tools
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
- Pass background check
- Be highly motivated and self-disciplined
- Be computer literate.
- Be dependable

Be able to work a flexible schedule Monday – Friday
