Maritza Sofia Pereira 2013 VW Beetle Convertible gets a serious brake & wheel upgrade!

Out with the 18” TSWs and in with a fresh set of 19” Rotiform BLQ-C wheels for a much more aggressive look.

Up front, we upgraded to MK6 Golf R brake calipers, paired with Brembo rotors and Brembo Ceramic brake pads front & rear. Before everything went back together, our friends at AVR Aaron Shadle gave the front & rear calipers and carriers a fresh Red finish to really set the setup off behind the new Rotiforms.

The result? Better stopping power, a cleaner stance, and a whole lot more attitude.

Jeff Walden MK7 GLI rolled into JED Autoworx this week for a little MQB TLC, maintenance and some engine bay upgrades.

We kicked things off with Brembo Ceramic front & rear brake pads—a solid upgrade to keep the GLI stopping strong until it’s time to step up to a proper big-brake setup.

MK7 VW GTI came in leaking from the thermostat housing. Instead of replacing the problematic OEM plastic setup, we’re upgrading it the right way.

James Morales stopped by JED Autoworx this week to give his MK7 VW Golf Sportwagen the makeover it deserved, along with knocking out some overdue maintenance.

The transformation started with a set of Vland MK7.5 Style LED headlights, GTI-style LED fog lights, a gloss black MK7 Golf R grille, and DSG Paddles ® carbon fiber front & rear VW emblems. We also installed smoked sequential mirror turn signals with carbon fiber mirror caps to complete the exterior refresh.

To finish off the look, we fitted a RacingLine 70mm stud conversion kit and mounted a fresh set of Rotiform ZBF wheels (19x8.5 ET35, Matte Black with Machined Face), wrapped in 235/35R19 Lexani Twenty performance tires that were road force balanced for the smoothest ride possible.

Inside, we upgraded the factory silver dash and center console trim pieces to the carbon black GTI trim package and topped it off with a UroTuning.com Perforated Black Leather Shift K**b V2.

While it was in the shop, we also took care of all the maintenance:

luisito 🇵🇷 stopped by JED Autoworx to take his MK7.5 GTI to the next level with a serious Stage 3 transformation.

This build received a long list of performance upgrades including:

One of our favorite builds is back in the shop for another round of upgrades.

Nathan Lopez’s Audi RS3 8Y came in for a suspension overhaul, replacing the Neuspeed lowering springs with KW Suspension V3 DCC Coilovers for improved ride quality, adjustability, and performance. We also installed SuperPro Suspension Alloy Front Lower Control Arms to sharpen handling and improve front-end precision.

This RS3 continues to evolve with every visit, and it never disappoints. The balance of comfort, grip, and performance makes it an absolute blast to drive.
