We can upfit your truck with an Extendobed sliding platform, giving you full access to gear at the back of the bed without climbing in or dragging equipment toward the tailgate.

The slide rides on high-capacity roller bearings and features automatic latching every 12 inches, so it stays secure at any extension length, not just fully in or fully out. Depending on your platform, capacity runs anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500 lbs, and it can be built out further with shelving, bins, or drawers to match how your crew actually works.

Bottle gas retainers keep cylinders secured during transport, while dedicated mechanics drawers and compartments keep tools and small parts sorted and accessible from outside the vehicle. Work lights extend usability into low light conditions, and the whole setup is available in a range of configurations to match dual rear wheel, class three chassis and above.

This truck is equipped with a Knapheide electric crane, capable of handling loads that would otherwise require a second vehicle or extra hands on site. Knapheide's mechanics service trucks are commonly built with cranes offering up to 20 feet of reach and lifting capacities in the 3,200 lb range, depending on the configuration, with outriggers included to keep things stable during a lift.

The crane box itself is engineered to transfer lifting forces into the body's frame rather than the side compartments, which helps protect the storage structure from stress damage over repeated use. It's a setup built for crews who need to lift and move heavy components without slowing down the job.
