For you new followers that don’t know, September 14 is a big day for me (Bill). While this isn’t the day Cycleworx was born, this is the day 6 years ago I took the plunge and hoped like hell it all worked out. Because 2 weeks prior to today I told my boss to take my job and shove it….in the nicest way possible. What started as a way to make extra money had become too much. Originally starting in my dad’s lawn mower barn I was needing extra money to pay for racing. Later in life after moving out I found us needing money for diapers and formula, so then started working in an old barn on my in-laws farm. From there I saved enough to build a garage at my house then another, and well….another. Nearly 20 years after “Take it to Bill” become a commonly used term, here’s how far we’ve made it. You know it’s funny. I’ve kinda come to the realization that I’m pretty sure this business will be the death of me 😂😂. But all I can do is hope that I’ve built enough of a foundation that at least one of my kids can turn it into what I can only dream of it being…. Crazy to set back and look at how quick life can snowball.
