This was by far...the most intense project Ive taken on. Entire chassis harness using a Leash Electronics board that includes power windows, mirrors, aftermarket heater, electronic power steering, dual fuel pumps, hard top defrost, digital dash from Tinker Electronics, custom lighting, all tied into factory ignition switch, turn signal stalk, and other factory buttons. Maxxecu USA ECU also tied into the chassis harness controls as well as sequential paddle and console shifters to control the 8HP transmission, multiple additional sensors to control the tune also tied to a can communication expansion module and the entire engine harness designed from scratch on Harness.Design

All of the engine and chassis harness is all bulkheaded and modular so the car can be disassembled to help finish the build and for easier serviceability in the future. A little open harness surgery to consolidate some wires out and add in some others. American Autowire main harness now setup to plug and play into an LS Swap with Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air , Retro Manufacturing radio, electric trunk release, and various switches on a T56 transmission.

Some before and after of a long project! 85' Jeep CJ that needed an absolute ton to get it ready for driving and shows if needed. New Holley Sniper 2 system including ignition, fuel system, and PDM. All new custom dash with Dakota Digital gauges. New hydroboost brake and steering system from Classic Performance Products, Inc along with all new brake lines. New cooling system, fan, and transmission cooler. New lighting everywhere and cleaned up a lot of the previous audio system install. Powdercoating by 302 Powder Coating and lots of random welding from The Forge Auto . I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton but this was a HUGE project... literally...

Just wanted to give a quick thank you to Landon @ V Fabrications . These Deutsch connector mounts worked perfectly for a customers light bar that I was working on! He has them in 6 and 8 pin and he was a huge help when I needed one slightly scaled down for a tight area.

A lot of cool parts on this build. Big girl terminator setup, new ARC panel that runs half switches and half ECU inputs, working lights, brakes, signals, horn, twin fuel pumps, new fuel lines, and an initial tune that's setup with all the goodies. Thanks to Cory Nicholson @ Carchains3D for the sweet stacking mount for the terminator ECU to keep everything in a tight area.

For those considering aftermarket EFI systems...please understand that the initial settings that you input and the tune that is generated is for extremely basic starting and running. I can assure you it is not a good tune to use for any extended amount of time.

The first two pictures below are the timing tables that Holley generates. It is basically a desired wide open throttle timing and a bare minimum timing for idle. There are a number of issues that can arise from this like poor performance, poor idle, engine running hot, glowing headers, stumbling and jumpy driving characteristics, etc.

The 3rd and 4th pictures are an initial example of a timing table that I created for a customers car. It will have to be adjusted once the car is up and running based on cam characteristics, cruising rpm and load, and how the car is responding but as you can see, there are much more gradual transitions based on RPM and engine load. Older distributors that have mechanical and vacuum advance can also perform great once adjusted and tuned properly.

Another wild one finished up! Big turbo big block chevy with all the things. New full body harness along with a custom Terminator harness to control boost, staged fuel pumps, engine fans, oil cooler fan, trans fan, and twin methanol injection. The tune is all setup and ready to go and this thing is LOUD. Customer has some more work to go on it and hopefully will see it out on the road soon! Thanks to Cory Nicholson for the 3d printed stacked mount for the ECU and Can expansion. Also thanks to Michael Martindale for the welding help on stainless battery box, exhaust, and radiator repairs!
