Every morning, David rolled up to his grey wheelchair-accessible van with the same quiet confidence. Some people saw the chair first—but David saw freedom.
As he prepared to board, a young girl passing by stared with curiosity.
“Mom, can he drive?” she whispered.
David laughed. “Of course I can,” he said, giving her a thumbs-up. Her smile said everything.

People often assume ability is measured in steps. David knew better. True ability lives in determination, in finding new ways forward when old paths change.
As the ramp lifted and he settled inside, he felt that familiar certainty
Inability isn’t a barrier.
Just a different route to living fully.
