UCR scam? We just received an email with the subject 2026 UCR [email protected] telling me that our 2026 UCR is past due. It is not.

If you receive email or letters from any company wanting you to pay them to do this for you, don't bother. It takes 5 mins to do it online at ucr.gov

You can go to this site to check to see if you are registered.

From the Great West newsletter: The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has identified a new, aggressive email phishing campaign. Motor carriers receive emails falsely claiming to be from U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) or FMCSA officials. These emails often contain professional-looking documents and legitimate-looking links, but they are fake and designed to steal sensitive information or demand illegal payments.

🚨ALERT: Recent Phishing Scheme Targeting Motor Carriers🚨

FMCSA has identified an aggressive phishing campaign.

Emails falsely claiming to be from FMCSA/USDOT ask for sensitive info or payments and link to non-government (non-.gov) sites.

Remember, official FMCSA emails almost always use a .gov domain. In special cases, such as surveys after Contact Center calls, emails may come from non-.gov addresses but request feedback only, no sensitive info.

If unsure, don’t click links—verify with FMCSA Contact Center (https://ask.fmcsa.dot.gov/app/ticket ) and report scams to FBI IC3 (https://www.ic3.gov ).
