We are a light and medium duty diesel repair and performance facility. Our services range form oil changes to full engine builds. We have over 30 years of experience in the diesel industry. Duramax came in for a head gasket job. We always test the fuel injectors before it goes back together. Glad we did, we found 6 injectors failed on fuel quantity and 2 failed on internal timing . Now it’s going to get new injectors and injection pump . While we know this isn’t the most exciting thing to share, it does save quite a bit of money in the long run. No extra labor as everything is all apart.

The grid heater nut on the 6.7 dodge is an issue. Having said that, We strongly recommend changing out to the banks intake elbow for 2 reasons. 1 the grid heater nut, And 2 simply due to the efficiency gain. Here are some photos to show how restrictive the factory units are. These photos also show what happens when the vehicle only does short trips and never has enough time to reach full operating temp.
