The grid heater nut on the 6.7 dodge is an issue. Having said that, We strongly recommend changing out to the banks intake elbow for 2 reasons. 1 the grid heater nut, And 2 simply due to the efficiency gain. Here are some photos to show how restrictive the factory units are. These photos also show what happens when the vehicle only does short trips and never has enough time to reach full operating temp.
