It is with a heavy heart that Kruger Bush Campers will not be able to join our Overland friends at Overland Expo East in Arrington, Virginia this October.

We had been planning for this annual event since last year and were looking forward to another weekend of community, discovery, and adventure. Many of you have met my daughter, CC, at these shows. Just a couple of weeks ago, she underwent surgery for thyroid cancer, and the follow up will keep us in South Dakota during the same time as Expo East.

We will truly miss our friends and partners like Tembo Tusk, Lavabox, Rocky Talkie, Nomad Wheels, to name a few and so many others who make this community special. Please know we’ll be with you in spirit and we look forward to reconnecting at the next expo—the next adventure.

When the New York International Auto Show asked us to showcase our two Overland Porsches, we were honored and honestly, blown away.

This was the 125th NYIAS—the oldest and one of the most prestigious auto shows in the country—and we had the opportunity to bring two of the most badass Porsches built for overland adventure.

But when it came to the graphics, banners, and signage? There was only one place we turned to: Doug Bean Signs here in Savannah.

I’ve been working with Doug Bean, Michael Bean, Donna Swanson, Sarah Gantt and the entire team for nearly 25 years—starting with Royal Restrooms. Every time, they’ve delivered quality, professionalism, and friendship. From custom banners and signs and sometimes vehicle graphics, they’ve helped shape the visual identity of everything I have done.

This time, they helped us stand tall on a national stage.

We honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. The ones who cleared the path so we could explore wide-open roads, sleep under quiet skies, and chase adventure without fear.

It’s Friday.

Overland Expo West 2025 is rolling this weekend out in Flagstaff, and we sure wish Kruger Bush Campers was there to soak it all in.

There’s something special about this event. It’s not just the gear, the rigs, or the trails, it’s the people. Overland Expo always feels like a reunion. You catch up with friends who’ve become family, share stories around campfires, and walk away feeling recharged and reconnected.

We’re missing that energy this year. Missing the handshakes, the bear hugs, the trail tales, and the random late-night chats under the stars.

Be sure to stop by and say hello to our friends at Lavabox, Tembo Tusk, Rocky Talkie, and Nomad Wheels and tell ’em Kruger says hi.

We’ll make it out there one day. Until then, travel safe and make it count.
