Strategically positioned to support transportation by vessel, rail, truck, and ISO container, Lathrop 1 provides the flexibility and connectivity needed to serve a wide range of liquid bulk storage and distribution needs. With 55 acres, 2.65 million barrels of storge capacity, and 24/7/365 operations, the facility plays a key role in supporting efficient product movement throughout the supply chain.

At Colonial Terminals, Terminal 2 plays a key role in supporting the storage and movement of dry bulk commodities.

With 90 acres of terminal space, 200,000 short tons of covered storage capacity, access by vessel, truck, and Class I rail, and 26 storage silos, Terminal 2 is designed to support efficient operations and seamless connectivity throughout the supply chain.

The Colonial Group Inc. EHS teamed up with us and Savannah Fire for a hands-on emergency drill simulating tank fire scenarios. Together, we put coordination, communication, and critical safety protocols to the test to build the confidence and readiness needed when it matters most.

Working side-by-side with local first responders, the team sharpened real-world emergency management skills and identified opportunities to keep getting better. This focus on teamwork and preparation is what helps keep our people, facilities, and community safe every day.

Given the rise in popularity of pickleball and our team's competitive nature, our senior leadership team recently held their own pickleball tournament! Most participants were fairly new to the game and had a great time learning and playing, but a few members of the brought next-level skills to the court. Congratulations to Paul Barger who came in second and our President Ryan Chandler who placed first overall! 🏆
