There were a few late nights and a lot of work involved in this project. We got this fantastic Osprey all rigged up with all Garmin electronics and a few other upgrades for the buyer. They are on the road to their home in Florida with their new boat. We did a Garmin Radar, 9” Display in dash, 12” Display on top of the dash, VHF Radio, and a full hydraulic auto pilot system # and more. We also converted the toilet to a fresh water flush model in place of the factory raw water flush model. It was a fun project and we are grateful for the patience our customer had as we were behind schedule getting it done. While it doesn’t seem like a huge amount of work, there is a substantial amount of time, planning and also a lot of physical work behind the scenes. A full electronics rig like this can easily take 30-40 man hours for an experienced crew. We ran out of time to get pictures of all the details and feel bad the customer was delayed getting on the road.

We are working hard to get as many boats finished and out to customers as we can. We are sorry there have been delays and less communication than desired. As many of you may now know, Josh Gerrie has taken a role elsewhere. While his departure was unexpected and not part of our long term plan, we are working through our next steps. We appreciate Josh and the time he invested here at R&R. He has left on good terms and we think we may see his face from time to time around here still. The role he accepted is an opportunity for major career advancement and we are proud to have been part of his early career steps.

We will be offering our new old stock inventory of parts, new parts, used parts, parts from salvage boats, used running motors and parts from complete damaged motors. WE WILL HAVE ABNORMAL HOURS THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS

Our store hours will not be normal the next couple of days. Some staff members have had family emergencies. We are very busy trying to get as many boats ready for customers as possible. There are also some health issues that have prevented other staff members from being here. There will be periods of time that the store is locked and there is no one around. Please be patient. We are likely at the water launching boats or working with customers.

We are working as hard as we possibly can to make sure all of your needs are taken care of but we know there will be some things we won’t be able to finish.

Also, it has come to our attention that our phone system is allowing people to leave messages. We don’t have direct access to these messages and therefore can’t return those calls immediately. Please try back if we don’t answer the first time you call.

It will be back as it does still provide very good SEO and so forth. In the meantime, we are continuing to work on our business adjustments and new tools.
