On Father’s Day, we celebrate the men who teach us that a business can be about more; it can be about serving people, building relationships, and creating something that lasts far beyond a lifetime.

This photo captures a remarkable moment in Schmit Bros history: a father standing proudly beside his two sons; united by hard work, shared values, and a commitment to the community they all loved. What began as a family dream grew into a legacy that has spanned three generations and earned the title of being the oldest Ford dealership in Wisconsin. Through changing times, economic ups and downs, and decades of automotive innovation, one thing has remained the same: family.

Behind every vehicle sold, every handshake, and every customer welcomed through our doors has been a belief that people matter, integrity matters, and treating customers like neighbors and friends is the right way to do business.

As we celebrate Father’s Day this weekend, we’re grateful for the fathers who built the foundation, the sons who carried the torch, and the generations of employees and customers who became part of our extended family along the way. Some legacies are measured in years. Others are measured in the lives they’ve touched.
