Finished this car up last week. The customer's complaint was they were losing coolant at a fast rate. I found that that coolant bottle was being over pressurized causing it to boil over. This occurred because of a bad headgasket. After further examining, I found obvious signs on the head and headgasket where exhaust gases were being pushed into the coolant passage. Since the head was off I also replaced the valve seals to fix a oil burning issue. Valve seals were definitely worn out.

I had this 2013 gti in for service last week. Previous shop told them their timing chains were stretched along with the turbo was bad causing an underboost code. Found that the turbo was in good condition and the turbo diverter valve was causing the underboost code. I replaced the timing chains, turbo diverter valve, did a dsg service and installed a nice new exhaust. If you're having issues with your car and need servicing done feel free to message me.
