Trump asks: “Are you better now than 4 years ago”. I remember 2020 as just coming out of a mishandled pandemic. Putting behind me a president who thought he knew more than the medical experts. Who said it that would just disappear, or maybe we could drink a disinfectant to kill it from the inside, or that sunlight would get rid of it. WTF. I had just opened a business and could not find workers, nor could anyone else. The supply chain was in shambles. Store shelves were half empty. I remember Trump supporters storming our capital and attacking our police. I remember Congress & our Vice President having to scurry for their lives while our President did nothing for too long. I remember the shame I felt as an American to see immigrant families risking everything including their lives to seek a better life here being separated and caged with no record of where family members were place. I remember the distrust the rest of the world had towards the USA. Basically I remember the big ass mess that Trump left behind. The current administration has had mistakes, every administration does, but they have put our economy back on track, demiished the affect of getting Covid, restored American integrity around the world, & shown empathy. So even with consumer prices high (don’t expect them to go down with either candidate) I am better than I was 4 years ago. I’m a registered Republican but will not give Trump my vote. He doesn’t deserve it. Dump Trump.
