Ever wonder what one belt under your hood is actually responsible for?

Your serpentine belt transfers power from the engine’s crankshaft to important components such as the alternator and water pump. The belt tensioner helps keep everything moving with the proper tension.

A small radiator hose can cause a BIG problem when it fails.

Your vehicle’s cooling system works constantly to keep the engine at the proper operating temperature. Hot coolant travels from the engine through the upper radiator hose to the radiator, where heat is released. The water pump then helps circulate the cooled fluid back toward the engine through the lower radiator hose.

Over time, radiator hoses can crack, swell, weaken, or develop leaks. Catching these problems early can help prevent coolant loss, overheating, and more serious engine damage.
