C & T COMPOSITES CONTINUES CATALINA YACHTS PRODUCTION WITH CORE BOATBUILDING TEAM — BUILT IN AMERICA

Largo, Florida — August 11, 2026 — C & T Composites, LLC continues to move forward with the return of Catalina Yachts, with boats actively progressing through the production line at the company’s Largo, Florida manufacturing facility.

At the heart of this restart is a simple commitment: Built in America.

The company is currently operating with a focused core team of experienced boatbuilders as it rebuilds production operations and prepares for the next phase of growth.

“We may be a smaller team today, but we are building boats,” said Patrick Turner, CEO of C & T Composites. “Seeing our team back on the production floor and Catalina boats moving down the line is an important milestone. We are taking the time to restart the right way, with the right people, while maintaining the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Catalina owners and dealers expect.”

The accompanying team photo represents the people helping lead the first stage of Catalina’s return to production. Over the coming months, C & T plans to carefully expand its manufacturing team as production volume increases.

“This is only the beginning,” Turner added. “Our goal is not simply to restart Catalina. We want to build on its heritage, support our dealer network and owners, introduce new ideas and new models, and establish a strong foundation for the next generation of Catalina Yachts — while keeping our commitment to building boats here in America.”

Production activity currently includes Catalina sailboats already on the manufacturing line, with additional production planned as the company continues its operational ramp-up.

Largo, Florida — June 30, 2026 — C & T Composites, LLC is pleased to announce a new chapter for Catalina Yachts and True North Yachts, with plans to restart manufacturing, introduce new models, and develop a new American-built adventure boat line for the next generation of boaters.
As the United States prepares to celebrate 250 years of American independence this Fourth of July, C & T Composites is proud to begin its own new chapter at the same time — restarting American boatbuilding, bringing skilled team members back together, and carrying forward respected marine brands that have long been part of the American marine industry.
With production staying in Largo, Florida, C & T Composites, LLC is committed to keeping Catalina Yachts’ legacy of American manufacturing by experienced American boatbuilders. The company will be led by CEO Patrick Turner, alongside Member John Chen, who brings extensive experience in multi-hull development, and Board Member Hiten Sonpal (iRobot & Rice Robotics), whose guidance will be instrumental in the company’s strategic growth and profitability.
As part of this revitalization, former designers and engineers will be returning to assist with designs and developments. Their involvement will support C & T Composites, LLC’s goal of honoring the heritage of Catalina and True North while developing fresh, modern designs for today’s boating market.
In addition to revitalizing Catalina and True North, C & T Composites, LLC is proud to launch Xplor Yachts, a new adventure boat brand designed for today’s active boaters — combining performance, versatility, comfort, and American craftsmanship.
