Ford Transits and transmission problems — we see a lot of them.
When a work van goes down, it needs to get back on the road, not sit in line. We’ve got two Transit lifts in the shop, so we can get these vans up, get the transmission out, and get them back to work without the usual runaround.

This one needs a replacement unit. We’ll get the new transmission in, button it up, and get the van back on the road. Work vans don’t make money sitting still.

Pulling a front-wheel-drive transmission is not a driveway job.
On these cars the transaxle sits sideways between the wheels. Getting it out means supporting the engine, separating the CV axles, dropping or shifting the subframe on a lot of models, and keeping every mount, cooler line, and sensor accounted for.
That work belongs with people who pull transmissions every day — not a general shop guessing through it, and not a video in the driveway.
We’ve been doing this carefully in Sarasota for 60 years. If your car is slipping, shaking, or won’t move, bring it to a local transmission shop that actually specializes in it.
