If you look very, very closely, you'll see a crack in the middle of this groove. This is caused by someone over tightening an oil galley plug in a very old engine block. I have removed material to allowed for a proper repair of this very rare original part.

You are looking at a very rare 1963 1/2 Ford 260ci engine block.
It's fully machined, and fresh out of 6 hours of being treated with a die grinder to remove all imperfections in areas 99% of people will never see. We do things a little different here at Goux Classic & Custom Quality and skill are second to none!

2013 Ferrari California in for diagnostic and inspection. I fear this one may be suffering from the dreaded Getrag 7DCL750 transmission failure. Before diving into a transmission rebuild, I will be checking that it isn't something simple... Stay tuned
