The frame swap on my personal truck is finally done and I got to drive it around the block. 97' frame with a 01' body. Just have to wrap a few more things up, get new tires and an alignment, and then register and insure it and I can get my truck back. It's been a lonnnnggg time coming!!!

Always sketchy cutting holes in some nice saddle bags but the rear subs came out really nice and sound even better. Added a Arlen Ness stage 1 air cleaner and every bolt is locked tited like it should be so no bolts suck into the motor like last time.

Bottom of this cub cadet zero turn mowers seat had rotted out and the bolts had ripped out of the plywood. A new seat cost around $600.00 and a used one off eBay was around $200to $300.00. Cost me 15 bucks in hammer in wood nuts and some scrap plywood and now get to reupholster and reglue the foam down.

All this just to replace not one, but 2 horns on this newer Kia so it can have a " more full tone." They sure are loud but its pretty crazy it burnt up both horns in only 4 years. Meanwhile my 24 year old truck still has its original horn and is just as loud.
They sure don't make s**t like they used to! Everything, is disposable.

Gernaded twin cam all from loose air cleaner bolts being sucked into the motor. So much metal from the pistons being destroyed, one of the bolts embedded itself into the top of the piston straight up and down and made contact with the top of the cylinder head. Cracked the piston skirt off and proceeded to chew metal up throughout the entire motor. Donor motor is in and slowly coming back to life.
Fun stuff!!!

Sketchy frame swap on my 01 4 runner using a donor 97 4 runners frame. Re coated new frame w rust protectant and re coated underside of body with bed liner. All new polyurethane body mounts and she's finally sitting on her own weight again with a lil extra fabrication and all being done without a lift. On the home stretch now, I just want my truck back.
