Hello our amazing customers!!!
We here at Elks Automotive feel we must pass on some information we discovered today. Someone called our business today claiming to be Alabama Power. They informed us we owed $500.00 today or they were shutting our power off. They said to go to the Dollar Store and buy a prepaid card and put the money on it, call them from the Dollar Store and tell them the card number on the back.
This is of course, is an AWFUL scam!!!!
We have contacted Alabama Power to let them know. This just makes us sick!! Please make everyone you know aware of this!! Talk to your elderly friends and family about so they can recognize the signs of a scammer.
