Sometimes you don't need a new bumper—you just need to know how to reshape the one you've got. 🔥🔨
The owner of this Toyota wheelchair-accessible van called me out to see if I could work a little magic on a badly pushed-in and distorted front bumper.
Instead of replacing and repainting the bumper—and leaving them without their van for several days or even a week—we used controlled heat, reflections, and hand manipulation to slowly reshape the plastic and bring the bumper back toward its original form.
Plastic has a memory, but knowing where to apply the heat, how much heat to use, and where to release the tension is what makes the difference.
No body filler.
No repaint.
No replacement bumper.
Just a paintless bumper reshape, preserving the original part and factory finish while getting an important vehicle back on the road without the downtime of conventional repairs.
Watch the reflections as the shape comes back. 👊🔥
