Don’t get it twisted, cars with carbs still ask wtf about major elevation changes but a 110hp Corvair will take you to Tahoe and not really complain. At least going East cause the rise of the Sierras is gentler coming up the mountain. Wish me luck for that quick 1,000ft scurry up from the Tahoe basin later this week.
