I have been busy working on all my Corvettes and as a result I have delayed my weekly posts. Here is a little fender repair I did last week. Luckily the owner saved the missing piece, and I was able to clean it up and put it back where it belonged. Even the inside of the 1/4 panel was cleaned up, and a coat of fiberglass was applied to make it look factory inside and out. Now let’s be careful backing out of the garage and you’ll keep your perfect 1972 CORVETTE perfect. Thanks, Jack

Thanks Ed, your 1961 Jewel blue with red interior is a very original, well kept and a valuable CORVETTE. A week ago, you noticed an engine hesitation and a little gas leak. So bringing it into Mcjacks Corvettes for a check up was a wise thing to do. I like to start at the source. A quick look at the pick up tube in the gas tank, making sure the filter sock is not plugged and the gas tank  isn’t rusty. No rust, but also no pick up tube filter, which is the must to have.
 Second, after disconnecting the gas line at the pump, I was able to blow through the line to make sure that the tubing was not plugged. 
Third, after eliminating the tank and the gas line we now know it’s the pump.
Locating an original pump was difficult but I was able to locate one. By removing the lower radiator hose the installation was not that difficult. Now Ed, you can go anywhere and know your Fuel delivery system is perfect. Thanks again, Jack.

Thanks, Colin your 1972 Corvette was fun to work on and now everything is working great. When your list of things to fix gets bigger than what you can remember, it’s time to come see me. All the little things that were bothering you like, the high beams, flickering, interior light staying on, instrument lights not working and a noisy power steering, got all fixed. Thanks Frankie, working on Your C5 CORVETTE was a little bit of a challenge for me to match that very light silver, champagne color. But we did it here at McJack’s Corvettes. It was just a little chip, but it caught the bumper cover and the quarter panel. A blend had to be perfect in order to avoid clear coating everything!

Thank you, Eric. I know you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas next month to get married and you wanted me to make sure nothing overheats! Well, life is risky so I said yes, and talked Eric into an aluminum Radiator, a clutch fan and a mercury type water temperature gauge. Thank you Wade, for choosing Mcjacks Corvettes to remove your side pipes from your very rare 1965, 396 big block Corvette coupe. Every once in a while, somebody wants their side pipes removed because they say the loud noise making your ears ring. They look great but if you drive your side pipe CORVETTE much, it could get pretty loud. So, this story will show you the process and difficulties involved when you change your mind and you want your side pipes. Putting side pipes on, is 10 times easier than taking them off! Thanks Dan, your 1962 Corvette is now finished after 90 days since you brought it into Mcjacks Corvettes! This CORVETTE was in a very peculiar state when I started this project. The hood, the trunk, the soft top lid and both doors were way out of alignment and some had way too big gaps. Follow the story and see how I was able to make this 1962 into a car show winner!
